DEPARTURE and FEEDBACK

Thank you so much for booking your holiday with us. We hope you’ve had a wonderful time, both staying at Running Hare and enjoying the delights of Windermere and the Lake District. Isn’t it amazing to have access to such beautiful countryside?

  • Please could you remove all the bed linen, leaving it in the room or the bathroom.

  • To ensure the cleaner/caretaker has plenty of time for a thorough clean and change-over, please ensure you have left by 10am.

  • Please can you empty the bins into the bin at the back of the house; it is sorted by Cumbria Waste for recycling. It's emptied on Thursday mornings.

  • If you have used the second fridge in the utility room, please unplug and prop open.

  • Please replace any keys used, including putting the front door key back in the key lock box outside for the next guests.

We would love to hear feedback on your stay, and there’s a number of ways you can do this:

  • There’s a guestbook supplied by the booking agency, Cumbrian Cottages. This is read by other guests and you are welcome to make suggestions to people based on what you have enjoyed doing in the area.

We love to see where people are from (and also any guest dog names ).

  • There’s a spiral-bound copy book where you can write suggestions for changes or additions. This feedback has been especially useful for us starting out.

  • After your stay, Cumbrian Cottages/Cottages.com (or whichever agency you booked through) invite guests to review the cottage on their website through the Reevoo review system. If you’ve enjoyed your stay, this is a brilliant way for you to leave a review as it helps new people browsing for a holiday to choose where to stay.
